Our app contains educational content in a form we call Encyclopedia. This is traditionally considered a comprehensive source of information covering a wide range of topics. In our case, it is a collection of all the content that exists in our app. The basic units of our Encyclopedia are Topics and Questions. These units can then be part of larger units such as courses, quizzes, various games, presentations, and so on. This approach allows us to better evaluate what content people are viewing and improve both our app and the content itself more effectively overall.
Structure of the Topic in the Encyclopedia
One Topic in our Encyclopedia is basically one subchapter in a book. This Topic then has several pages (subheadings) that address a specific issue.
For example, if the Topic is Linear Equations, then the first page may contain the definition of a linear equation. The next page then presents a sample solved example (question). The next page describes the mathematical options for modifying the equation. Then the pages contain more sample or test examples (questions). At the end, there may be a page summarizing the entire Topic, and perhaps a final quiz (a practice set of questions) to check the student's understanding of the Topic.
Dividing the Topic into such pages brings an advantage especially in microlearning (dividing the learning into the smallest possible parts). The student thus studies in small pieces, is not forced to study too large a part of the learning and can stop learning at any time without having to remember exactly where he/she left off for the next time. It also lets us know what students are studying or how long it takes them.
Interaction and feedback

In addition to the content itself, each Topic also provides additional information that is of telling value to users when they are deciding whether to actually view the Topic. In particular, the Topic contains:
- Title: The title of the Topic that clearly and concisely describes what it is about.
- Perex: A short introduction or summary of the Topic that gives users an idea of what to expect.
- Author: This information allows the user to anticipate a certain quality or method of explanation.
- Time: Describes how long it should take to go through the Topic. The time given changes (adjusts) over time based on real data from users (the system measures the actual time spent on each Topic).
- Review: Shows how other users rated the Topic on a scale of 1 to 5.
- Verified: Status of whether the Topic is verified by our ForClassmates team.
- Tags: keywords (tags) that help users find relevant content.
- Number of likes: The number of users who like the topic.
Conclusion
The modern Encyclopedia is a new way to learn and share information. Thanks to its structure and interactivity, it is better able to respond to users' needs. Whether it is for a deep understanding of a specific Topic or a quick overview of a wide range of Topics. In short, a modern encyclopedia is ready to provide users with exactly what they need.
In the next article, we will describe the second part of our Encyclopedia, the Questions. For these, we will explain an important part of our application, and that is interaction and instant feedback.
